Estúdio Lógos

marina saleme invited us to design the whole catalogue for the liquid paper exhibition, which took place at the gallery luiza strina.

the design is very simple.

the artist herself had the idea to make the catalogue as an accordion, and we just created a discreet game of alternations that involves the two covers (front/back) with two pieces of information (title/artist), the two languages (portuguese/english) and the two main colors (black/silver). the closed format is 2 x 3 (134 x 201 mm).  

in most cases, the works are in one of the accordion's folds; only the bigger works took up a double-page spread.  

one of the double-page spreads contained the curator's text, maintaining the cover's games.
