bamboo 18 had marcio kogan's architectural firm - mk27 - as curator and the 'subversion architecture' as its theme.

on the cover we made a collage with a city drawing by alexandre benoit and a project from sou fujimoto.

here we see the first page of the summary, featuring guilherme wisnik's column on japanese architecture and rafael urano's text on stephane maupin's office.

we let a mistake go on this page, after the cover credits there should be a reproduction of the cover.  

on the second page of the summary, we highlighted the wall, with a illustration by alexandre benoit.   

guilherme wisnik wrote about the 'lucid sleepwalking' in japanese architecture.

we designed part of the typography with an image overlapping the other.  

for rafael urano's text on stephane maupin's office, we arranged the images of the 'm' building creating the same diagonals found in the façade.  

on this double-page spread on bicycles, we used the small field of the magazine's grid to create a pattern of circles.  

on the opening of the wall, we overlapped the 3 designs for the following pages in yellow, and over them a rectangle in the hot-pink pantone.

our intention was that the text cut out only the pantone, revealing the yellow, but once again we made a mistake.

the cover module for the salvador guide has two arches, inspired by a berimbau.
