a4's previous logo was composed of 4 squares, and text over them.
even though we radically cleaned the design, an attempt was made to maintain a relation of the new logo to the old one, using 4 squares to draw the 4.
we also kept the institutional typography – futura – and proposed a design that pushed this fonts geometric perfection to the limit.
since the information is in white, the only possible color for the logo is black.
in all the stationery pieces, the logo demarks a vertical division of the piece, having the fixed information on the right, and the variables on the left.
the letter paper follows the principals defined in the business card.
from it we also designed a series of digital forms used by a4's team.
the same stationery system was used on the website: the logo demarks a column with 1/3 of the page with the menu and contact information, and the content always on the left.
